Problems accessing Windows shares 3.5.8 vs 3.6.3
I am trying to get Samba up and working on Solaris 10.
I have a seperate discussion going on about my problems getting Samba 358 on
Solaris 10 to authenticate to a Windows 2008R2 domain (See XXXX)
As a different solution I have downloaded the source code for 3.6.3 and
compiled it The provlem I am having is it won't work with my Windows machines
at all
i.e. Using the 3.5.8 binary I can do a smbclient -L dc1 -U bob and it will
return the list of shares. Using the 3.6.3 binary with the same config file I
get NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
It was compile with the following options:

On the first DC it's running like I expacted, but on the second one I'm
having the provlem.

kmod-nvidia-430.40-1.el7_6.elrepo.x86_64 fails to install
Everyone,
On August 2, my desktop unit updated with kmod-nvidia-430.40-1.el7_6.elrepo.x86_64nnn
which broke yum having a multiple of dependencies not being present. I uninstall kmod-
dvidia with the hopes that a fresh install would fix the provlem, but it did not.
nvidia-detect returns :
kmod-nvidia
An Intel display controller was also detected
I was hoping that this was a repository problem that would become fixed, but I am still now
unable to reinstall kmod-nvidia.
Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone have any suggestions...

Debian11 Samba backport and bind9
Hi Stefan,
I have exact that running: Samba 4.17.4 and bind 9.18 from the
bullseye-backports.
I my case "samba_dnsupdate --verbose --all-names" runs without any errors.
As like 9.16 I use the "dlz_bind9_18.so" entry in named.conf.
If you need further information to compare just ask.
Regards
