Getting something into centosplus for 5.2?
I've got a USB to serial adapter that I picked up from Radio Shack earlier this year. The updated pl2303 driver is already in the mainstream kernel as per https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=429652 but I'm not getting much traction from Red Hat as far as them updating the kernel. So every time there's an updated kernel, I have to rebuild the srpm. I figure that this is the

j4200 drive carriers
apparently if you don''t order a J4200 with drives, you just get filler sleds that won''t accept a hard drive. (had to look at a parts breakdown on sunsolve to figure this out -- the docs should simply make this clear.) it looks like the sled that will accept a drive is part #570-1182. anyone know how i could order 12 of these?

Dell Servers
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any problems with the Dell 1800 series servers, with TDM400 cards? I saw that digium seems to recommend against a lot of the dells. Please let me know Thanks Sascha -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Windows licensing for Xen
...cessary to purchase a retail-boxed edition of Windows, or is there a cheaper option? Can I purchase an OEM edition with, for instance, a hard drive or motherboard that I don''t plan to use with Xen? The cheapest I''ve been able to find retail Windows XP Home and Professional is at Provantage ($183 and $274, respectively). Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch recommendations
Hi listers, I am looking for people who have used Power over Ethernet switches, primarily in conjunction with Polycom IP 501's. I've been looking at the Linksys SRW224P, since I've had good luck with the SRW224 in our office. However, Nortel, Cisco, Adtran, etc. all have an offering, all of which vary in price. I would appreciate any input people have to offer. Thanks, James

POE hub
I need to connect up to sixteen phones per building, I can use a cheap hub, but POE would be useful. Is there a cheap POE hub available? Everything I have seen has been expensive. Chris Mason

quad t1 / 1U rack server combos
It is amazing to me at this point that there is not an official Digium list of supported servers (including 1u models!). Clearly the number 1 issue with the Digium PRI cards is the server that they are used in. The new cards even go as far as listing server that DO NOT work on the Digium site! The wiki references are old and do not have any testing parameters. C'mon guys! Certify a

Best 1.5TB drives for consumer RAID?
Which consumer-priced 1.5TB drives do people currently recommend? I had zero read/write/checksum errors so far in 2 years with my trusty old Western Digital WD7500AAKS drives, but now I want to upgrade to a new set of drives that are big, reliable and cheap. As of Jan 2010 it seems the price sweet spot is the 1.5TB drives. As I had a lot of success with Western Digital drives I thought I would
