I returned to run the above command and these results changed.
Change the settings of smb.conf, now looks:

Getting R graphics into MS Word
...ord document, only part of
it is visible.
Has anyone on the list experience of trying to do this?
Do I need to change the graphics options in R or is there a problem with
the input filter of Word?
