hi all, is there a cd-rom image with a full R pre-installation which I can give to my students so that if they want to run R on their computer, they will be able to run it from the cd-rom without having to install it on their computer. That way, they can have a 'protable' R package installation in their bags, and they can use it on any machine. Is this possible? This would alow me to have archive quality music at home, and lower quality on the go, without recompressing, or storing two versions of each song, one protable and one archive quality.
