Hello
I would like to compare the results obtained with a classical non
parametric proportionnal hazard model with a parametric proportionnal
hazard model using a Weibull.
How can we obtain the equivalence of the parameters using coxph(non
parametric model) and survreg(parametric model) ?
Thanks

weighted kernel density estimation
...[H^{-1}(x-X_i)\right] (1)
\hat{f}_n(x) = \frac{1}{n|H|} \sum_{i=1}^n K\left[H^{-1}(x-X_i)\right] (2)
I have uploaded to http://addictedtor.free.fr/testkde2dw the files :
- plan12.pdf : my factorial plan 1-2 (size of representation
of the observations are proportionnal to the COS??)
- persp.pdf : the estimation without the "weights"
- perspW.pdf : the estimation with the "weights"
My questions are : As anyone done that ? Do i have right to do that ?
Thanks a lot.

Block size optimization - let rsync find the optimal blocksize by itself.
Hello,
Another French student in the rsync mailing list. I have been working on
rsync this year for a documentation project for school and I would like to
give some comment about rsync block size optimization first, and then to
submit a way to make rsync choose by itself the optimal blocksize when
updating a large number of files.
Well, the first comment: during my work, I wanted to verify
