[LLVMdev] Attribute to mark that function only access memory through it's arguments
Hi, Currently in AliasAnalysis we can model ModRef behaviour for functions which only access memory through their pointer arguments. However we can't express this propery as a function attribute. For example, for intrinsics we can specify ReadWriteArgMem or ReadArgMem attributes in tablegen definitions. But due to the lack of the related function attributes on the llvm ir level, this

samba4 and sssd and user mapping
Hi everyone, on a server running samba4 with sssd for nsswitch mapping, I realized recently that on windows workstation in the "folder propery/security tab", users are mapped as "Unix user\userlogin" instead of "DOMAINNAME\userlogin". I guess this is due to the fact that sssd mapping with getent passwd gives me user name without domain name (eg. userlogin), and

creating NTConfig.POL
I have an NTConfig.POL I created from poledit with the Windows 2000 Administrator toolkit. It contains my WSUS configuration, and NTConfig.POL is placed in my [netlogon] share and is being loaded fine by the clients. Is this still the propery way to create NTConfig.POL files, or is there a newer utility I should be using? I'm looking at Vista and it uses .admx templates, which I guess

Making a new package: licence
HI All, I have written and succesfully uploaded a new package. The licence it is under is 'GPL' --no version. My assumption is, since all the code is written in R the licence R used for R would affect the code (hence my "GPL" stands for "whatever version of the GPL R is under") I am happy with the licencing I used, but I'd like to ask if there is any transitive

Marginal write performance & pauses in outgoing transfers - Possible bug
Hello everybody, I have a FreeBSD 4.8-STABLE server running Samba 2.2.8a and a workstation running Windows 2000 SP4. Whereas FTP transfers between these boxes average 700 KB/s (10 mbps LAN) in both directions, Samba transfers are exhibiting this odd behavior: Windows 2000 --> Samba = 700 KB/s (perfect) Samba --> Windows 2000 = 100 KB/s (terrible, inconsistent, with LONG pauses) Trust me,

Meanwhile we found the reason for the bug - actually we do not know if it is related to a specific version of CentOS or a specific kind of command as cron job. Let me explain what we have: - sssd for ssh login of ldap user - crond for

[LLVMdev] graph abstraction proposal
Hi! while trying to use llvm::DominatorTreeBase on a custom graph that has nothing to do with llvm::BasicBlock I ran into some difficulties, because llvm::DominatorTreeBase calls e.g. getParent()->front() directly on the nodes and uses llvm::Inverse which forced me to implement my GraphTraits also for Inverse. This could be solved using a compile time abstraction of Graph instread of

Need help deduplicating messages fetched with getmail into dovecot mailbox
Hello everyone, I'm using getmail to fetch some external mails from POP3 into a dovecot mailbox (providing IMAP). Getmail seems to have some serious problems keeping track of mails already fetched. I have every Mail exactly twice in my Mailbox delivered by Dovecot. Of course they are not in the original external POP3 Inbox. I hope I'm in right place here. I think the problem is not

Memory consumption
Hope everyone had a festive easter weekend! Is it possible to monitor how much memory iptables or kernel consumes while processing packets as they go through the firewall? The same question goes for having a large number of routes in the routing table (>700). A few reasons for asking, but the two major ones are from the following situations: 1. We provide 420 flats in a complex with
