Asterisk on Mini-Box M300
Hi, Did anyone try to install Asterisk on the Mini-Box M300 with a Versa mini-ITX board 1GHz VIA x86 CPU? The box looks promissing, but I am not sure if Digium cards are compatible with the mother board (Versa mini-ITX) Also I am not sure if the 1GHz VIA processor can handle a Digium 24 port analog board, or an E1 digital board. If anyone had tried the Mini-Box, the processor, of the mother board, can he please give me a...

pGINA and samba - authentication against LDAP userPassword field?
Hi, Back to a while ago, someone mentioned about taking pGINA code to samba, so samba can work against LDAP authentication, but instead of using the sambaNTPassword and sambaLMPassword, this way samba can use the userPassword field directly. This sounds very promissing because we can then just use one set of passwords. It may be not usable in a domain enviroment where machine accounts and other complex stuff are difficult to hand. But it is perfectly okey for a single linux machine in a workgroup mode. It can even provides user authentication to other Windows box...

Terrible performance when setting zfs_arc_max snv_98
...with a blocksize of 8K. This server has 64GB of memory and will be running postgreSQL, so we need to cut down ARC memory usage. But before I do this I tested the zfs performance using iometer (it was a bit tricky getting it to compile but it''s running). So far so good. Figures look very promissing, with stagering random read and write figures! There are just a few problems: every few seconds, disk LED''s stop working for a few seconds, except one disk at a time. When this cycle is finished, it looks normal again. This seems to be the flushing of the NVRAM cache. Should be solved by d...

...was restared without problem!). And we are left with nothing: no result file was produced since the calculations were interrumpted! Consequently, I am looking for a way to accelerate calculations with ME() of spdep and to save the results step by step (for each eigen value). I came accross several promissing ideas: 1)make a compiled program in C and call it in R with the command system(); 2)use muliR. However, I do not know how to use these tools. I do not understand exactely why the calculations are so slow and I do know know how to write a program in C... I am using Ubuntu 9.04 and R version 2.8.1 ....

Metric label values truncated when using OpenMetrics endpoint
Hi Jeff, Thanks again for your insights. I understand that a lot of features are pending and it's totally fine, we're just very eager to use all these features. Reagarding the logging of failed attempts I did try to configure this in these two metrics: metric auth_client_userdb_lookup_finished { event_name = auth_client_userdb_lookup_finished group_by = service local_ip remote_ip

DocumentTermMatrix - text minig
Hi All, I have a Data.frame that looks like that one below. I would like to do some text mining on it to possibly find some patterns between Opis, ACklasifikacija and Vodja. I looked over a tm package which loks promissing, more specifically DocumentTermMatrix or TermDocumentMatrix. But I can not figure out how to change my data from data.frame to Corpus or VCorpus. Metric label values truncated when using OpenMetrics endpoint
Hi Jeff, Thanks for your reply! Regarding grouping by remote address, I understand and for now I'll keep a close eye. Maybe it's an option to group by /24 for ipv4 and /64 for IPv6? We currently do that based on the logs but the OpenMetrics endpoint seem a lot easier. A slight hijack of the original question: but I tried to log only IP addresses (+ result) of failed login attempts but

Arguments become nonnumeric
Dear Everybody, Enclosed are the tiny beginning of a program and its output. As a pity, if I load the image <load("kanal.RData")> the elements of <de.dd> are non numerical; <de.dd[2]+de.dd[3]> returns <Fehler in de.dd[2] + de.dd[3] : nicht-numerisches Argument f??r bin??ren Operator>. How can I keep the numbers numerical? Thank you in advance. hopefully, Mag.

I've chacked on that. I've made what seemed like promissing changes to /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-post and /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/network-functions . No go. I still get the search line in resolv.conf . I've tried putting in search google.com , but on reboot, it still gives me midco and only midco . Any idea what does affect search in r...

MS Access on Samba 2.0.6
I'm running an MS Access databasen on a RedHat 6.0 Intel box, using Samba 2.0.6. Clients running Win95/98 and WinNT 4.0. When more than 6-7 clients opens the Access database I get an error message like "Table <NAME> is exclusively locked by user <NAME> on machine <NAME>. Error number 3261.
