[LLVMdev] OT: Python on LLVM
Hi, Slightly off-topic (as it's not directly about using or developing LLVM): http://code.google.com/p/unladen-swallow/wiki/ProjectPlan "Our long-term proposal is to replace CPython's custom virtual machine with a JIT built on top of LLVM, while leaving the rest of the Python runtime relatively intact." Just curious, has anyone here heard more about this project? Regards, Paul P.S. If I'd heard about this just...

Weighting Schemes: Implementing Piv+ Normalization
...Also, I was wondering if we want to have pivoted normalization weighting as a separate weighting scheme in Xapian as it will make a way to add support of different variations of pivoted normalization in the future? [LLVMdev] open source multithreaded garbage collector suitable for LLVM applications?
Hello All Does any know about some opensource multithread-compatible (or concurrent) garbage collector library, if possible suitable for LLVM? (I mean that I want several mutator threads; the collector can be stoptheworld or concurrent ....) H.Boehm's conservative GC is multithread compatible, but seems quite slow (allocation is about the time of a C malloc). And it is well known that

Are you PRO on RoR?
...for the Republic of Cyprus. Now I want to move on, I know that I have the next big thing in the dot com biz. It all begun from a dream that became a businessplan and also later on was nominated by UN World Summit Awards and won the title as best initiative in category ICT. In a few words the projectplan is about creating a innovative community with some similarities to facebook.com. But ten steps further... The plan is to create a beta and run it without accepting venture capital. It''s pity to sell company shares in a seed stage. At the growth stage there can be more demands from our...

oplock problem
Hello! I need help (but who doesn's huh? :-) ) I meant to run one program - Money2000 (no, it is _not_ program from Microsoft) together with samba on linux, but i have problems with oplocks. This program is installed locally on win9x/NT and shares its databases. We tried to place databases on novell, on NT server and on win95 acting as server and everything worked fine. But when we tried
