I am trying to run a program that needs MFC42.DLL. I downloaded the dll from a site and put it in the system32 folder, but it still did not recognize it. I changed the permissions to be more lenient but that did not help either. So I found and used winetricks vcrun6 mfc42 After doing this I made a terrible mistake.
