RJS specs
Hi again...
This is wierd spec problem no. 3. I''ve got a simple one line RJS
file that renders a partial specified by the controller
page.replace_html("product_info", :partial => @product_partial)
The partials in question will contain purely static content - the
idea is to have some dynamic links, so you hit
http://localhost:3000/gap/product_info/product_1
http://localhost:3000/gap/product_info/product_2
it will render _product_1.rhtml, _prod...

Which Quad Port FXO is Best?

meetme application
...en I asked about the need of having
a zaptel interface to make the meetme application work, that said that it was
better to have a real hardware then the zaptelrtc software modules.
So, my question is, would any of the following cards work with the meetme
application?

E400P vs te410p vs te411p
Hi,
I found E400P quad PRI card quite cheap (749USD):
http://www.govarion.com/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=2&osCsid=68cdd6e3d08754
in comparison to te410p (approx 1500 USD )
http://www.digium.com/index.php?menu=product_detail&category=hardware&product=TE410P
Now newer generation with HW echo canceling emerged (te411p).
I'm not sure in what things those two...

End of migration: adding support for some analog phones
Hi,
during gradual migration to Asterisk, I put Asterisk in front of a legacy
Alcatel PBX:
PRI PSTN <--> Asterisk <--> E1 cable <--> Alcatel PBX
After successful deployment of VoIP phones, it's time to drop Alcatel PBX!
I'd like to keep some of analog lines to support modem, fax and some older
stuff. What's the best choice? A channel bank or a TDM2400P card?
Can I

Does anyone know of any providers that can offer local numbers based in
the UK via IAX or SIP? We're looking at getting a number based in the

Thanks!

Specifying Ajax hyperlinks
...as
something that needs doing because it''s generated code at the end of
the day.
I''ve got a few lines now along the lines of:
response.should_have ".moo #quack > a[href=''#''][onclick^=''new
Ajax.Updater(''][onclick*=''/product_info/rti'']"
part of the problem is that the CSS selector parser for should_have
barfs on an embedded quote. ie, even this selector doesn''t work
(note extra trailing quote in attribute):
%q{a[href=''#''][onclick^="new Ajax.Updater(''"...

Learn To build IVR
Dear All.
I'm very new to CT, but attracted by asterisk.
I plan to start learn to build IVR, based on asterisk.
Do I need FXO/FXS card to start building simple IVR box ?
Can I use OEM X100P - FXO PCI Card ( http://www.digitnetworks.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=28 ) to start build an IVR box ?
What is the cheapest FXO PCI card that can use with asterisk to build my first IVR box ?
Is there any step-by-step docs/url in doing this ?
Sincerely

Will the Sangoma A40003X fit in a 2950?
Considering getting the card pictured here,
http://www.voipsupply.com/product_info.php?products_id=2419&searchid=341962,
and was wondering if anyone had any experience with those in a 2950's
case. From the picture it looks to be a pretty large card. I'd hate
to get it and have it not fit!

It's about time! -- Digium PCI-Express Cards
Just noticed this today:
Digium TE220B Dual Span T1/E1 PCI Express Card with Octasic DSP-based Echo
Cancellation Module<http://www.voipsupply.com/product_info.php?products_id=3352>
It's about time Digium got on the ball and made PCI-e cards. What are
people's experiences with this card? Anyone know if there are plans for a
PCI-e analog card for FXO use?

Vorbis decoder chip on SparkFun
I'm open to flames if this has already been posted.
http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8300
As of April 17th, SF listed a new Ogg Vorbis decoder chip that is
seriously listing for $10 USD. I'm excited. I think I'll buy a couple
and integrate them into an IR streaming project I've been tinkering with.

recommends on CentOS + Via Epia CN10000EG
I'm considering building a network gateway using a Via EpiaCN10000EG
motherboard like seen here:
http://www.logicsupply.com/product_info.php/cPath/79/products_id/444
I've heard that this is a pretty recent mobo and drivers for it are in
Ubuntu but that a 2.6.9.x CentOS kernel might have troubles with it.
Anyone have any opinions on this mobo?
Thanks

Billion BRI PCI card
I'm looking at experimenting with asterisk with an ISDN BRI and ISDN
phones (since I have these already).
I saw that the Billion card was cheap and could be used in either TE or
NT modes.
I have the following question which I couldn't answer by reading through
the manual. Maybe someone has experience of using this card and can help
me out.
when using in NT mode does the card require

Newbie: confusion with the new FXO/FXS card
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to set up a Asterisk server. I have two cards - one is an
BeroNet BN2S0 with two ISDN lines (4 channels):
http://www.adcomtec.com/webstore/beronet_bn2s0.php?cat=90
and a Rhino R8FXX with one FXO module and two FXS:
http://www.voipsupply.com/product_info.php?products_id=2940
I would like to set up an Asterisk server with 8 phones, which will
share the phone numbers via ISDN. Sorry if i'm not writing this very
clearly, since my telecomunication skills are appaling (I'm used to
linux though).
As documentation states, Rhino R8FXX can work...

Conditional with variable from facter
Hi.
I have the following facts available:
# facter | grep oper
operatingsystem => CentOS
operatingsystemrelease => 6.2
Now, if I wish to use conditionals on these facts, I have to do it like
this:
case $operatingsystem {}
case $::operatingsystemrelease {}
I''m puzzled as to why can''t I just use $operatingsystemrelease, and what
do these two semicolons mean?
Thank
