snapdir visable recursively throughout a dataset
Is there an existing RFE for, what I''ll wrongly call, "recursively visable snapshots"? That is, .zfs in directories other than the dataset root.
Frankly, I don''t need it available in all directories, although it''d be nice, but I do have a need for making it visiable 1 dir down from the dataset root. The problem is that while ZFS and Zones work smoothly

Debian 9.8 and vanbelle-repos
Stefan,
If everythig works now. Then keep it as is.
Most probly it was the firewall that caused the problem.
@Rowland, good point. Im everytime amazed with all the commands you know.. :-)
And SID: S-1-5-21domain-513 = domain users.
These are "Samba Sids" S-1-22-[1-2]

Ext3 problems possibly plauging me
Hello.
My box has been running flawlessly for months now, but in the last 2 days
hasn't stayed up for more than 5 minutes.
All this seemed to have started after I did a very very bad thing......
I ran the EXT2 to EXT3 conversion on my root filesystem.
I used the "tune2fs -j /dev/sda1" to do the deed. After it completed
the machine ran fine (the machine was up and serving when I

CentOS 6.8 Apache-2.2.15-53 re-write question
I was wondering if somebody could help me with an Apache re-write rule. Apparently CentOS 6.8 is running apache-2.2.15-53. I am trying
to redirect all pages except for two pages. The apache rewrite directives in the httpd config are:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI}!^/test/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI}!^/my-folder/
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.newdomain.com/$1 [R=301,L]

serial vs console and serialonly
hi hpa, etal
I found a patch against 2.06 that turned off console when serial was in use.
http://centerclick.org/net4801/pxelinux/syslinux.patch
This patch works, but appears to turn off the console unconditionally.
I went to see how it would fit in 2.11, and it seems youve already started
adding this feature. If so great, but how do I control it from a
config-file ?
I didnt see any new

RESOLVED - RE: Ext3 problems possibly plauging me
Thank you to all who replied.
I am very happy (for you guys anyway) to report that this
was NOT infact caused by ext3, but rather a very very untimely
memory failure that occured during my convertion from ext2 to ext3.
It turned out that one of my PC2100 DDRs went south, and I'll
be contacting Crucial to deal with that.
Thanx again for all the help.

Compiling libvirt-0.8.4 for NFSv4
Hi all,
Not sure if this will be useful to anyone. Worse, it's probably not
complete or correct, but I thought I would throw this out there for
comment.
I asked earlier about configuring libvirt for NFSv4 support. I wanted
to define NFSv4 pool from xml config, but it's not an option. I decided
to hack a bit. Added the following to source code:
storage_conf.h(417):
