simple loop problemo (Geo brownian motion)
I would like to plot multiple random walks onto the same graph. My p variable dictates how may random walks there will be. par(mfrow=c(1,1)) p <- 100 N <- 1000 S0 <- 10 mu <- 0.03 sigma <- 0.2 nu <- mu-sigma^2/2 x <- matrix(rep(0,(N+1)*p),nrow=(N+1)) y <- matrix(rep(0,(N+1)*p),nrow=(N+1)) t<- (c(0:N))/N for (j in 1:p) { z <- rnorm(N,0,1) x[1,j] <- 0 y[1,j]

Email2fax big problemo
Hi, Few days ago I installed Email2fax application on my Asterisk box. I works but not in 100 %. Sometimes (to be certain quite often) I don't receive the whole fax. My fax machine cuts off transmission in 1/2 or 1/3 of the page. I read about it on a wiki and some user lists and people say that this behaviour could be cause be the Ghostscript and the conversion to the tiff format, but when I

[LLVMdev] Problemo: createTailDuplicationPass
Good morning! After updating and recompiling my copy of the LLVM trunk I noticed that the line "_passManager.add(llvm::createTailDuplicationPass());" in my code fails with the following assertion: Assertion failed: NormalCtor && "Cannot call createPass on PassInfo without default ctor!", file D:\Workspace\llvmtrunk\include\llvm/PassSupport.h, line 111 This behavior

boot... round 2
To remind you once again. ISOLINUX >= 6.00 built with GCC >= 5.0.0 causes a broken boot. This relates specifically to the use of the vesamenu.c32, menu.c32 works without problemos. This "code" is already in 6.03, therefore this is not a fix for it! Revert "SYSAPPEND: Fix space stripping" This reverts commit 3106dcd http://repo.or.cz/w/syslinux.git/commit/3106dcd Fixes broken boot via vesamenu.c32 for the current git - 5186539 2015-06-27 version 6.04 20...

Mount failed - icecast2 with ices
Ok so I finally realized that you need icecast2 for ogg streaming to work and got the latest version of ices-0.2 installed. I am now unable to ever stream a friggin mp3 never mind an ogg file. The server is up (icecast2) and I see it in the web browser, when I try to run ices-0.2 I get the following errror. I am running ices-0.2 as root and icecast2 as richard (might that be the problemo?) Disk images and syslinux
Hi, I'm working on a Red Hat 7.3 based bootable cd. I have included a number of firmware update floppy images to it succesfully. However, I run into problems trying to build a floppy image for IBM ServerRAID firmware update. The firmware update disk set contains three disks. So their content does not fit into 1.44 nor 2.88 floppy images. To my understanding it possible to build a hard disk

predict (PR#2685)
There is a bug in `predict' whereby the order of variables sometimes gets re-arranged compared to the original fit, and then disaster results. Specifically, the 'variables' and 'predvars' attributes of a 'terms' object get out of synch. This only happens when the terms in the original formula get re-ordered during fitting: test> scrunge.data_ data.frame(

OK - John's book suggests that we're not complete in this arena here...Yeah, I bought the Samba 3 How-to-guide - Borders/Phoenix had 3 on the shelf (now 2) - and also an LDAP book for reference. It's been a fun weekend ;-) problemo... # smbpasswd -x -i MULLEN

Creating HD Boot Images
I have been trying to track down information on building HD boot images for ISOLINUX and MEMDISK, and so far, haven't had a whole lot of luck. I've found a number of sources describing the process of setting up ISOLINUX and MEMDISK, and how to configure the boot CD to boot various OS's. I've also read through Bart Lagerweij's BootCD/ModBoot pages, and Mikhail
