Hello, I found an interesting thing that I don't know if it is a bug, by design or I need to be doing something that I'm not but here goes. My system RedHat 8.0 (1) PDC with LDAP 2.1.23 backend master, (3) BDC with LDAP slave backend. All are Samba 3.0.

Hi! Can you try follow this guide to get a core dump https://www.dovecot.org/bugreport-mail then provide gdb /usr/lib/dovecot/auth /path/to/core bt full on it. Would help narrowing down that bug. Just another udev segfault. strlcpy() writes behind the specified maximum size. strlcat() causes the same probelem and truncates the destination string to the maximum size which isn't the job for a concatenation function.
