simulating provider in a module
Hi, What is the best way for you to simulate a provider behavior in modules ? For exemple if you have an webserver module and want to have a apache2, lighthttpd prividers. How would you do so the call to the modules functions stay like: webserver::addvhost { ... } and not webserver::apache2::addvhost Any best practices you can share ? I know that conditional include would not work

auto passphrase
Hello, I was wondering why we do not have an option to privide the passphrase (RSA) as a parameter to ssh (on windows ssh.exe) Is there a reason for that. I looked at the code. It is very easy to provide such functionality. Regards, Gevik.

samba3.0.23c + cups1.1.23 unexpected pause on some printers
Hi, I use a Debian Sarge with samba 3.0.23c (from testing) and cups 1.1.23. For unexpected reason, some printers are sometime stopped (pause), and I need to start then again. There is no trace of a "stop" in the log of cups. (and I'm the only one who can pause them, anyway). here is an example : cat 10.lpr.log | grep imp-cao | grep -E "(stop|start)" Nov 10 14:15:41

Account Not Authorized ???
Using Linux 5.2 Red Hat Using WinNT 4.0 Workstation SP5 Trying to access a file system on the Linux Server (\\Ide) from the WinNT workstation (\\Glagowski) When the server \\Ide is selected in the Network Neighborhood Explorer, a dialog box requesting Connected As: ___ and Password:___ appears. Prividing correct information results in the message: "The account is not authorized to login from this station". On the Linux host, the "hosts" file has been updated OK, and there is a user setup with the same name and password as on the WinNT workstation host.... Any ideas as to what...

Some time ago Red Hat had dediced to use this way of prividing the sources of their kernel because well knowns had started an aggressive business to hijack RHEL customers. See i.e. https://linux.slashdot.org/story/11/03/04/1550231/red-hat-stops-shipping-kernel-changes-as-patches Alexander

console logging
At one point (maybe when ABAT was DATS) I thought there was support for serial console logging through another linux box (this "console" box dedicated to prividing serial ports for connectivity to other test boxes). Does this functionality not exist anymore? All I see are options for a telnet-like console concentrator, HMC, and blades. -Andrew _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://li...

Version controlled (git) Maildir generated by Dovecot
Hi David, I've never heard about such feature in LibreOffice. Thank you for letting me know. I don't really see myself using the feature since I'd have to remember it. I'm used to store all sort of stuff / binary files in git. My rule of thumb is that if the file is bellow 10M, just add/commit it. Is it proper way of using git? No. Does it work? Yes ;-). I think that the
