erroneous implementation?
Hello, I am curious, what is the cause of some encoding artifacts, I guess part of them should not be present. - when encoding with a defined bitrate, some artifacts show up which I'd not suppose to be there at all. I attach a screenshot from the beginning og Harry Potter 1 at the moment before the "Privet Drive" plate slowly appears from the darkness. Note the green and red

Memory Footprint issues
...reducing the memory footprint down from 500K? From what its described, that seems to be fairly large. I have a copy of Visual Studio, so I'm all set with tools. However I'm a newbie when it comes to working on large-code, open source stuff like this. If your interested, please e-mail me privetly, or on AOL IM (cardboardbox00). I also have ICQ, I just have to re-install it again. I suppose one could go through it, checking through everything. Then again, maybe Vorbis isn't really bloated decoding streams and I've just made a hapless assumption. Should be a fun (first for me) p...

1 WIN_DOMAIN/2 subdomains
Hi, I have a win domain with samba PDC on linux on the public network. I have another linux machine in that network with 2 network cards. eth0 on the public network (a.b.c.d) eth1 on a privet network (192.168.15.1) There is one computer with win xp connected to eth1. How can I make that 'private' computer make to be part of the win-network in the public network? (If I connect the

a little note on sshbuf_reset()
Hello! I have a minor observation about code in sshbuf.c, not sure if it would be useful, but here it is. sshbuf_reset() is currently implemented like this: void sshbuf_reset(struct sshbuf *buf) { u_char *d; if (buf->readonly || buf->refcount > 1) { /* Nonsensical. Just make buffer appear empty */ buf->off = buf->size; return; } if (sshbuf_check_sanity(buf) != 0)

A couple of questions about OpenSSH codebase
Hello! I'm sorry in advance if I'm asking stupid questions, this is my first time dealing with a development list, so please excuse me if something is wrong with this message... I'm pretty interested in the OpenSSH codebase, and a couple of questions arose while I was investigating it, and I guess this is the place where I can find answers. 1. There are a lot of allocations, even for
