Hi, A friend's laptop just quit working under Windows XP, so I 1) booted a Knoppix Live CD 2) configured the thing for my LAN 3) scp'ed recursively Documents\ and\ Settings/, 4) wiped the hard disk clean and 5) installed CentOS 5.1. No dual-boot, no prisoners, just 100% GNU/Linux :oD I managed to find the contents of the Outlook Express Mailboxes in some obscure subdirectory. It's a series of files in .dbx format.
