[Bridge] Misbehaving bridge...
...t; command to brctl, the wireless access point that my card is connected to is shown as the root bridge no matter how low I set the bridge priority. If I tell my wireless card to act as the master, the bridge seems to function perfectly. The card I'm using is a D-Link DWL-520 Rev E1 with a Prism2.5 chipset using the HostAP drivers. I read in the FAQ page that some wireless cards cannot act as bridges because they are unable to spoof MAC addresses. I do not believe this to be the case with my card. I am able to change my MAC address without problems by issuing the following command:...

[Bug 107] Kernel panic when using NAT + FTP - ftp_conntrack problem
...r the end of the payload in the skb while searching for PORT/PASV commands. If you can reproduce the same problem with the 'string' match (but no ip_nat_ftp) loaded, this would confirm my theory. Without the respective hardware, I am unable to reproduce that problem. As stated before, my prism2/hostap combination was never showing such a problem. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

wireless card for CentOS
Hi, I'll need to buy a new wireless card. I need a recommendation for PCMCIA wireless card that simply works with CentOS out of the box. By "works out of the box", I mean that it doesn't need ndis wrapper (or whatever it is called), kernel hacks, or whatever. Thanks

Wireless LANs and Asterisk
Has anyone had any experience with wireless LANs and Asterisk? We have and here are my impressions. We configured an Asterisk in the office as a precaution to see how it would work for our own retail customers. Our office is open space, about 800 sq ft. (20x40 area). We use Snom200 and Grandstream SIP phones. Using the latest Linksys wireless access point (WAP54g) and 3 wireless bridges
