print queue problem
I'am running Linux as server.My printer is conected to an win98 client. It works fine, at least when the client and the printer are online. When I print from my Linux machine and the win98 not connected, the printcommand just disapear. "lpq" gives "no entries". Where does the printcommand go then? My problem is that in case I print from the Linux server and the win98

William, Thanks for your reply. I'am running SuSe Linux 6.0 with samba version 1.9.18p10. I have installed my HP cdeskjet printer with YAST (SuSe) as a samba printer. SuSe use the apsfilter as print filter. I have a file /etc/apsfilterrc.cdeskjet. okay.. i'm on my winbox, looking at stuff. connecting to my samba server works fine.. browsing through files and access is fine, but when i try to print, it doesn't work at all. it recognizes the printer, the printer type and such, but it just doesn't print. [printers] comment = All Printers path = /tmp printing = /usr/local/bin/lpr print ok = Yes

Build error due to Waf task dependency cycle in run_after
Dear all, trying to build some Heimdal-based packages for Samba AD DC under openSUSE I am facing some difficulties with the build system: During the installation which is triggered by "make install" waf complains about some task dependency cycle after leaving folder bin/default. Hi I want to build samba-4.10.0 for SUSE openLeap 15.1. usrmgr: group not found.
Hello. usrmgr gives me this error, if I try to create or modify a user: The group name could not be found. I can create and modify groups with no errors!.
