Database Modeller (Mac)
...e recommend a database modelling tool for the Mac? I''m building a new Rails app and want an interface to draw out the database''s entity relationship diagram, setup foreign keys and then output DDL at the end to MySQL. I''ve previously used DBDesigner, CASE Studio and some pricier enterprise software on Windows, but can''t find anything suitable for my Mac. The MySQL Workbench project seems to have stalled and I can''t find anything suitable. Any recommendations? Thanks Barry Frost --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this m...

Networker & Dedup @ ZFS
Hi, We are considering using a ZFS based storage as a staging disk for Networker. We''re aiming at providing enough storage to be able to keep 3 months worth of backups on disk, before it''s moved to tape. To provide storage for 3 months of backups, we want to utilize the dedup functionality in ZFS. I''ve searched around for these topics and found no success stories,

Re: ext3 / ext4 on USB flash drive?
...rrible for use a general purpose root file system. There are sites that will do technical analysis and ratings for various flash media (such as www.anandtech.com). For example a quick google search turns up: http://www.anandtech.com/show/4523/usb-30-flash-drive-roundup These are going to be the pricier devices, though. They aren't going to be the five dollar crap that you find at the checkout counter of a computer store. But then again, you get what you pay for.... - Ted

Linking asterisk to an existing small office PBX
Hi All I've done some reading on the wiki and read some of the mailing list archives, but can't see anything on this. I guess this means I'm either searching on the wrong thing, or have totally the wrong idea... Can anyone suggest if the following is possible? Currently, our office has a 24 analogue extension PBX, and 2 ISDN lines providing it with external connectivity. We have

Transition from one server to another.
A frind of mine and I are running a dedicated server, that among other things host mail for ourselves and friends and families. All in all about 15 different domains with 35-40 users. The machine in question is old, so we are doing a slow transition from the old server to the new one. So far, we've managed to move web hosts seamlessly. Due to the technical capabilities at some of the user
