mapping home dir
...successfully. Domain users can login with their accounts.
The problem is when they login they get a message stating
that their home dir doesnt excists. How can i map their
home dir that is on a w2k member server and how can i
create their home dir on the RH9 box when the domain users
login? I would prever to map their home dir from the member
server.

Seeking pointers to help
Noob alert....
I've been through most of the available documentation at a fairly high
level - if I've missed the obvious, just point me in the right
direction.
What I'd like to build:

Backend data stored in MySQL db
Front end user interface built using PHP/HTML running on Apache.
User builds a select via the web front end.
User selects a canned analysis or graph for the data set.

Very large quantity of files
...c has done
the job pretty good -- if I dont look to the clock :(
I am using rsync-2.5.1 with the follwing command:
rsync -av --delete /mnt/data /data_bak
The two drives are mounted using nfs. I run a simple script which
calls rsync for each of the two drives.
Is there anything wrong?
Would you prever another way for that job?
I'm new to rsync and I have started reading previous posts, but
found nothing that really helps me.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

zfs scheduled replication script?
...enough to choose between full and
incremental, and choose which snapshot to base the incremental stream
from (in case a scheduled incremental is missed), preferably able to
use snapshots created by zfs/auto-snapshot smf service.
To prevent re-inventing the wheel, does such script exists already?
I prever not to use AVS as I can''t use on existing zfs pool.

packetizing an ogg stream
Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right mailinglist (since I have an ogg problem
not a vorbis).....
I am looking for some pointers on how to packetize an ogg stream.
My idea is to use udp packets for transport, so I would need a way that
would minimalize the impact of lost packets.
Are there any code examples out there for this?
Thanks,
Jeroen
