for loop question Documentation and its application for calculating euclidean distance on MDS ordination axis scores
?for doesn't return anything help.search("for") doesn't return anything- Is the for loop so prevelant in computer programing that the documentation is implicit or is R paradigm to discourage the use of the for loop. I will post data probably tonight, but here is my problem. I have preformed an MDS on a set of data. I have the scores of the four axes that are the optimal solution. I want to calc...

* or X100P dropping analog calls
I have a * box running * version 1.0.3 with two X100P line cards in it and Cisco 7960 IP phones. Everything seems to work pretty well with the exeption that the system hangs up on phone calls for no apparent reason. It does this on both incoming and outgoing calls through the POTS line (currently only have one). The only thing in the asterisk console with maximum verbousity is " -- Hungup

SIP URI Dialplan?
...is will connect a call to FWD and call a user at FWD. It works nicely. What I'd like to do is write a dialplan that recognizes: <username>@sip.earthlink.net and does a dial like the one above. As far as I can tell the dial plans only allow me to specify digits. As SIP phones become more prevelant, it would be great to have dialplans that recognized SIP URIs. - |Daryll

Update of TeachingDemos package
This is to announce that versio 2.0 of the TeachingDemos package is now on CRAN (and hopefully soon to a mirror near you). This is a major upgrade of the package, some of the improvements include: The package now uses an NAMESPACE so it is easier to load just the parts that you need. Some of the GUI demonstrations now use tkrplot so that the graph is in the same window as the controls (there

Fw: Logistic regresion - Interpreting (SENS) and (SPEC)
Dear Mr Peter Dalgaard and Mr Dieter Menne, I sincerely thank you for helping me out with my problem. The thing is taht I already have calculated SENS = Gg / (Gg + Bg) = 89.97% and SPEC = Bb / (Bb + Gb) = 74.38%. Now I have values of SENS and SPEC, which are absolute in nature. My question was how do I interpret these absolue values. How does these values help me to find out wheher my model is

Scriptaculous + Prototype shrunk to < 50Kb
Maybe I''m anal but I like fat-free JS, so I pulled the Proptotype and core Scriptaculous files into one single JS file at 49Kb. It''s "packed" so if you care about that kind of thing, it''s also "obfuscated". Download from my personal site at www.alistercameron.com. - Alister PS. Of course this is the current version as posted on the

[RFC PATCH v6 00/92] VM introspection
The KVM introspection subsystem provides a facility for applications running on the host or in a separate VM, to control the execution of other VM-s (pause, resume, shutdown), query the state of the vCPUs (GPRs, MSRs etc.), alter the page access bits in the shadow page tables (only for the hardware backed ones, eg. Intel's EPT) and receive notifications when events of interest have taken place
