I have a data set with seven inputs. Four of which are categorical. For my midterm, my professor wants us to scale all the inputs. This means, I pressume, that I have to use 'recode' or 'factor' to transform the categorical data in numerical. For example, one input variable is 'race=(b,w,h,o)'. yum was unable to find and install netatalk, so i used RH9 package. It successfully installed, but didn't started. Dmesg showed me that some module is missing. I pressume I will need to compile new kernel, right ? Best Regards Kuba

I am stuck I think in understanding speeds I connect to the internet through a router modem which gets the real IP and assigns me a private ip through dhcp. So this router can handle a private network, and route it to the internet, pressumably with nat.

It should. I just tried it out my own instructions after letting them go a few days. I didn't want them fresh in my mind. I simply copied the configs and played dumb (not too hard).
