[Resolved] Found a way of allowing pam_ldap users (with pam_groupdn or pam_check_host_attr restrictions), AND allowing local root authentication, without pam_unix.so taking presense due to getpwent() returns ldap-users
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I've been trying to get LDAP ssh authentication to work for a while, and I found a bug (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=bin/116150) in pam_unix.so, that breaks support for ldap-group/host-restrictions the ldap-way. I saw numerous emails about pam_groupdn-ldap-restrictions on the mailinglists dating back to 2001, but no resolution

Feasibility Request
...of PSTN downtime or busy. For example, all 4 outgoing lines are in use, person 5 wants to make an outbound call and it gets redirected to one of my T1 offices. I'd attach their outbound caller ID to make it appear as the call came from that location. My inevitable hope is to reduce my analog presense in smaller communities to 1 primary Line for 911/emergency calling, and to get a published presense in the community. I'd then beef up my T1 locations to handle more VoIP based calls. Currently we're using on the order of 30k minutes a month of LD just intercompany, about 10k external (In...

Executive Assistant Guidance
Looking for two things: 1. Anyone that has dialplan logic for an executive assistant. My owners want their extensions to ring on her phone, and be very obvious to her which extension is ringing. They also want her to have presense. She's got Polycom IP 650 with sidecar, they have IP 550 phones. Thusfar I've got her registering to 4 extensions. Each extension is labeled with an executive and rings alongside theirs(Dial(SIP/126&SIP/191)) just didn't know if there was a better way. I also have presense setup...

Polycom and Presence
I am currently utilizing Polycom IP600 phones and presense. I have placed the hint directives in and everything seems to work fine. But this only works for a short period of time. After about 30 minutes, the extensions do not see when others are on the phone. Has anyone seen this type of behavior before? I am currently utilizing v1.5.2 of the polycom...

Presense Detection: I have used instructions from http://www.mundy.org/blog/ and enabled a trivial script that detecs my (cell phone's) presense via bluetooth. I want to be able to use this presense information to route my calls intelligently based on where I am. 3. Least Cost Routing: VOIPJET offers g...

...r it also modifies? My guess at what was happening is that since the parameter is noalias, the assumption is there is no possible way for the side-effecting function to modify the pointer. The second thread brings up an ambiguity in the C spec about how restrict is supposed to be interpreted in the presense of multiple threads. OpenCL still has restrict, but unless this is supposed to work, it is pretty close to useless. I checked the OpenCL specification, and it doesn’t give any clear definition of restrict beyond implicitly importing what C99 says. That said, I think it’s is pretty clearly undesir...

FW: Polycom IP500
...ilto:jpyle490@gmail.com] Sent: Friday, 17 September 2004 11:27 AM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Polycom IP500 I have two IP 500's on my Asterisk PBX. The IM features just kinda worked, without any extra configuration. Messenging and presense. I've heard of folks trying to interface this functionality with MSN Messenger and such, without much success. Can't help you much there. - Jeff On Fri, 17 Sep 2004 11:12:03 +1000, Paul Hales <paulh@adairs.com.au> wrote: > The Polycom phones have an instant messaging function...

Right now we are working around this with a custom alias analysis pass inserted that reports calls to the barrier intrinsics modify anything with the right address spaces. Is a n...

Ecological Niche Modelling on R
Dear all, I have strong interest on Ecological Niche Model, which in general use a set of environmental variables (continuous, categorical etc) and Presence (or Presense/Absence) records for species. I think that "grasp" and "adehabitat" packages could help me on these tasks. My input layers are on ASC format, and the record of species is a data-frame with X, Y, name of species. Note that in general we don´t have real absence data. Could someon...

Imap folders missing after updating
...to 1.0beta2 on FC5 and my my IMAP folders have mainly disappeared in my Thunderbird client. All that's left is Inbox and Trash. Is there some configuration setting that's now necessary to make the server think an account uses IMAP folders? The way it seemed to work before was that the presense of a Maildir directory in a user's home indicated IMAP. The new server seems to read the Maildir directory but it doesn't recognize all the folders. Thanks. --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo! Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls.
