DAHDI weather quirk
...k 1.4.30. Everything works great except that every time it
rains, I get flooded with this CLI message -

[Oct 20 03:17:08] WARNING[8905]: chan_dahdi.c:6827 ss_thread: Channel
DAHDI/1-1 in prering state, but I have nothing to do. Terminating simple
switch, should be restarted by the actual ring.

Channel Zap/4-1 in prering state
Does anyone kmow what these errors mean or how they
can be fixed. I'm using asterisk on a Fedora Core 2
box with a TDM400P with 2 fxo and 2 fxs ports.

Asterisk cannot read DTMF based CallerID from PSTN
...a TDM400. CallerID in my country's PSTN is
based on DTMF. Some information from my configuration files:
/etc/zaptel.conf:
loadzone=nl
defaultzone=nl
/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf
usecallerid=yes
cidsignalling=dtmf
cidstart=polarity
As displayed on the console, my Asterisk cannot detect the event
PreRing, but only the event Ring

As I understand, in DTMF, the caller id information is sent before the
first ring. If Asterisk cannot detect the PreRing event, it cannot
recognize the caller id
