can not wake on lan after halt -p (or shutdown -p now) on releng_7 and releng_7_0
...with magic packet. Even
if i shutdown the machine on the boot menu with the power button - than
later I can wake on lan. The only situation where I CANNOT wake it is
when I shutdown the machine from freebsd (halt -p).
First I tested with 7.0-RELEASE-p5 amd64 (RELENG_7_0) and than I
upgraded to 7.1 PRERELASE amd64 (RELENG_7). I also tested with two
network cards - the integrated one Realtek 8111B and another one Intel
PRO1000PT PCI-E with WOL enabled.
With both nics and both freebsd versions the situation is the same -
after shutdown from bsd the computer is not able to wake on lan. The

This prerelase should hopefully fix the "non-IP-numbered config file
causes crash" problem, as well as (I hope to God) clean up the Perl
binary issues.

Frequent reboots...
Hello,
I am having a problem with a new server running FreeBSD 4.9-PRERELEASE.
Once every two days or so, it reboots itself.. there is no exact time of the day it reboots..
It rebooted itself at 4:25 PM EDT on 9/25, and 3:05 AM EDT on 9/29 (today).
I thought it's the bad memory or some sort, so I've been running memtest today and memtest reports no sign of trouble with the memory...

So I just started looking into LLVM and I was wondering how to install the LLVM tools suite. (Such as the llvm-as or lli commands in the terminal described here: http://llvm.org/docs/CommandGuide (http://llvm.org/docs/CommandGuide/)). 9.1 minimal ram requirements
Guys, I've heard about some absurd RAM requirements
