Traffic Accounting
Hi, I'm trying to find out how to do traffic accounting with Dovecot 2.x, preferrably v2.0.9, preferrably on CentOS 6. I've previously asked on IRC, but there was little feedback, and my understanding is now this list is the preferred media for such inquiries. If I recall correctly, some weeks ago I was told that traffic accounting is not officially supported on Dovecot 2, but...

send existing root email to another user
Hi all, I'm running Centos 5.4 I have a pile of emails in my root users /var/spool/mail/root file I need to send this all to another address (preferrably external but local would possibly do) I have searched a lot but can't find any way to do this. I have set it so future emails get forwarded to my external address but I also need to shift the existing emails. Thanks Kate

R extensions programmer help needed (London area programmer preferrably)
Hi All, I'm not too sure if this is the right Ng to make this posting however, if it isn't I'd be grateful if you could point me to the appropriate Ng for this post. I recently sent a similar post to this Ng but got no response, if this is not the correct newsgroup for this kind of post, I will greatly appreciate some feedback regarding where I'm likely to get a more favourable

Using a subversion repository to spec in a rails app
Is it a bad practice to use a subversion repository to the trunk of rspec and rspec_on_rails? Or rather, is it doomed to fail, since my gem will always be out of date? I know I can''t use spec, installed from gem,s if I have the latest revision of rspec and rspec_on_rails checked into my plugins directory. But I should still be able to use it with the --drb option, correct?

Finally, can anyone suggest a source client that does wot IceS2 does, but that can 'crossfade' ogg tracks? Preferrably with scriptable playlists :) Cheers. <p>Leo <p><p><p><p><p>--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-request@xiph.org' contai...

Aborting an ssh connection on sshrc execution failure
...ctories. The mounting of the users' homedirs is done via a call from /etc/ssh/sshrc. This mount sometimes fails, with the consequence that users get dumped into an empty homedir that they think is their actual windows homedir. This is bad. What I would like to do is to abort the connection, preferrably with some kind of descriptive error, when my sshrc script returns a non-zero exit status. Is this possible? Cheers, Erik Thuning

Xen in a Box Proposal
Hi everyone, I am a masters student at IIIT- Hyderabad, India. I have submitted my GSOC proposal for Xen in a Box. I would be great to have some suggestions especially about the porting of xapi on CentOS Abstract: My project goal is to deliver set of scripts preferrably in bash, along with all necessay packages to convert standared installers ISOs into customized ISOs which install CentOS 6 + xen + libvirt + 2 pv VMs running + network configuration. I also plan to deliver xapi rpms which can be used to build a custom installer ISO to install CentOS 6 + xen + xapi....

CentOS 5.2 with IBM SERVERAID 6i
I need to install CentOS 5.2 on a IBM Server xSeries 226, which comes with a IBM SERVERAID 6i RAID card. I think it is not a true hardware RAID card. I has, nevertheless, an interesting feature: 128MB of cache with battery backup. I launched the CentOS boot DVD and CentOS correctly identified the card and the RAID 5 array as configured by the controller's BIOS. My question now is:

Hardware that can ring my phone?
Hello, I am a small business owner in need for a solution that automatically answers an incoming call, prompts the caller via touch-tone menu ("press 1 to leave a message, press 0 to speak to a representative") and will ring my (real) phone ONLY if requested by caller. I know that Asterisk is capable of all the logic behind what I described above. However, I couldn't find a

Prevent `wbinfo -u` from making Winbind unresponsive
...an existing session ('unknown uid: 3234505'). It pretty much blocked on that user search request for anything else, even things that were supposed to be cached locally like my UID. I do have the following lines in smb.conf: winbind enum users = no winbind enum groups = no Is there a way, preferrably without ugly hacks, to prevent this from happening on accident, by mistake? By this I mean ideally so that Winbind remains responsive even if someone mistakenly ran `wbinfo -u` or `wbinfo -g`, but limiting the result sets of these commands or blocking them altogether is acceptable too. ------------...

Saving plot into file without showing it
Hi List, My apologies in advance if question is simplistic, I am quite new to R graphics capabilities and I could not find anything in past threads... I use R 2.8.1 under Mac OS X, but I would preferrably have a cross platform answer as I use also R under Windows I produce plots using R & save them in a file e.g. below: y <- rnorm(1000) x <- rnorm(1000) plot(x,y) dev.copy2pdf() Until there fine, it create a pdf file that is composed of my plot...My "issues" are the follow...

[LLVMdev] Still can't compile backend or frontend on Windows
It's a shame this fine tool can't get better installation support for Windows. If it did I suspect it would get a lot more coverage. After 5 months or so I still have no way to compile the backend tools let alone the C frontend on windows. I have tried both Cygwin and Mingw so far. MingW is preferrable since distributions of the binaries would not require the cygwin.dll. It

bug in det using method="qr" (PR#1244) (PR#4450)
I just detected, that det() is not working on complex matrices any more, due to the fix to the bug reports noted above. I am not happy with this, as determinants are perfectly usable on complex matrices. AFAIUI the bugs resulted from less than optimal behaviour of qr() in certain cases. IMHO this is due to the unhappy decision to use a default for parameter tol to decide whether the the

How to disable NTLM authentication on Samba
...t I want is to prevent Samba from accepting NTLM(v1, v2, SSP, or whatever) and forwarding it, since SSSD does not support it. I am not trying to get SSSD to support any kind of NTLM. So, this would be a Samba issue, not SSSD's. Isn't that correct? Putting it in another words: what can I do (preferrably on the Samba server) to prevent windows clients from successfully sending NTLM authentication to my Samba server?
