So, is there a summary of the changes since the first edition? It would be helpful to see just exactly what in Ruby on Rails has changed before ordering the second edition of the book. Could somebody briefly describe changes to Rails since the version covered in the first edition of the book?

Hi all, I've asked this question before, but I was never able to fix the problem, and now it's back again and I'd like to try and resolve it. I have an authorized_keys file with about twenty keys, most of which are prefaced with command="/usr/bin/rsync ...". If I put my host key at the top of the authorized_keys file, I can connect without a problem. Rowland, I set a user with a uid and domain users group with a gid but I'm still unable to view them using 'id'. I do notice a few strange observations. If I go to another user to attempt to assign a uid. I get the default value of 10000. I would expect 2001 given I set the first user with uid 2000. Groups however appear to increment.
