While I empathize with your predicament, I generally prefer not to have expletives in my inbox. Also, what has this to do with markdown? How do I modify registry: Hk user?
All, Looks like I'm in a predicament. One of our new sites will prompt users (in IE) to display "mixed content". Which is basically asking if you want to display some http in a https site. I have found the solution, (besides having a user go into IE's tools / privacy / custom settings / enable mix content) - with a regi...

Yikes! Polycom 501 chokes on BootRom 4.0.0?
...essively upgrading this phone from 3.1.2 to 3.2.3, then to 4.0.0. v3.2.3 worked fine, but when I went to 4.0.0 (Even adding the more specific 2345-11500-040.bootrom.ld), it won't run, and just keeps rebooting. Now I've got a really nice doorstop unless someone knows how to get out of this predicament. [PATCH 8/9] qspinlock: Generic paravirt support
...use some clarification here, this is not clear. > At this point, I am thinking using back your previous idea of passing the > queue head information down the queue. Having to scan the entire array for a lookup sure sucks, but the wait loops involved in the other idea can get us in the exact predicament we were trying to get out, because their forward progress depends on other CPUs. Hohumm.. time to think more I think ;-)

Downloading, installing and running .exe programs using Wine
I am a Peace Corps volunteer in Chadiza, Zambia and I am in somewhat of a predicament which is that my windows operating system crashed. Fortunately I had a CD ISO of Fedora 10 I installed onto some flash drives, however I need to use my cell phone to access the internet and the software to do this is only available via an .exe program. Therefore I have a questions two, the first...

Full HTTPS support
Hi! I've been giving support for streaming and streamcasting over HTTPS... Everything started while giving streaming support to my website. When I read a console error (or was it a warning?) on Chrome, when the browser accessed to an http:// resource from an https:// domain. Then I decided to fix it by the clean way. I don't need official support yet... but if you don't mind to

[LLVMdev] RFC: Improving our DWARF (and ELF) emission testing capabilities
...te: > I do mean semantic extraction which provides a representation that's > meaningful to a user and hence can be effectively compared in a test. > But really, I gave up arguing on this topic a few messages (and heated > IRC discussions) ago. RFC retracted. I actually hit the same predicament for COFF. The few tests that are there usually use coff-dump.py whose output is quite limited (many tests just compare a binary dump), does not include unwind information, and is very different from elf-dump. Then there's llvm-objdump, which does resolve relocations and show parts of unwind inf...

Bug#588888: boot="d" does not boot from CD
I have followed this bug report only to wind up in a similar predicament. The Error: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'rfind' was fixed by installing xen-qemu-dm-4.0. However the same configuration issue (trying to boot the guest from a CD) with the 'boot' option exists for me too. Your configuration looks good unless I've missed someth...

...Y decrease the quality. No doubt the people who want to do this have the sound file in no other usable format. They have no choice. Since MP3 has legal issues, they may very well stand to benefit from such a conversion when there are no alternatives. No need to criticize them for being in this predicament. >>It's a very bad idea. cli_pipe: return critical error. Error was Call returnedzero byte (EOF), hilfe!
Hi Kurt, I've read the new document. It's a very fine piece of technical documentation. However, it doesn't help me in the present predicament. Going now by this book I'm only getting more frustrated. I'm stuck! For example adding driver with rcpclient invariably ends in "Segmentation fault" (Signal 11) immediately after pop_sec_ctx, whose push counterpart was invoked before a long series of opening and closing all norm...

RGui error on Windows 2000
The following might be of benefit to those who find themselves in a similar predicament with an apparently corrupted R in Windows 2000. The problem was traced back to a corrupted register in my user profile in Windows 2000 apparently caused by a DLL in Visual Basic installation not self registering correctly. The fix was to copy a new uncorrupted register from the default user. Tho...

[Mesa-dev] [RFC] tegra: Initial support

[The answer may be simple, but > I'm very unfamiliar with a lot of that stuff, and perhaps others are > in a similar predicament.] There are two reasons. For one, pretty much every software out there that runs on the "bare metal" (i.e. GBM) uses the same initialization sequence and it doesn't involve opening two DRM devices. So in order to support Tegra and other SoCs with a similar architecture, each of these...

Question :: groundstart and loopstart :: Update
...les or the zap channel software or the fact that we are using groundstart signaling on a loopstart line. I can confirm that this is the behavior with both CAC I and CAC II units as I have a CAC II unit and I spoke with Michael on this list who has a CAC I unit. Both of us are in the same predicament. Anyway, I hope others find this info useful. If anyone has any other ideas on how I can get my caller ID to work I would be really excited about that. Thanks, Jason PS: I have seen people mention that, when you have many lines, PRI is cheaper. This is not o...
