[PATCH 0/8] v2v: various fixed for -o rhv-upload
This patch series fixes various issues in the rhv-upload output mode: - properly find and use RHV resources - cleanup orphan disks, and possibly the current disk transfer on failure In reality, the first 4 patches deal with resources, and the other 4 with cleanups. The latter block can be theoretically sent alone -- I just happened to start working on it as part of my "let's fix

[PATCH RHEL 7] RHEL 7: -o rhv-upload: Use Python 2 instead of Python
For interest only, here is the patch required to make -o rhv-upload work with Python 2 (for RHEL 7). I don't think we want this upstream. A couple of remarks: * It's supposed to be possible to add ‘coding: utf-8’ to the top of .py files to make Python 2 accept that the file is UTF-8 (otherwise it gives an error on loading). However I added this and it didn't appear to make any

[PATCH v2v] -o rhv-upload: Give a nicer error if the storage domain
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1986386 My RHV instance is dead at the moment so I didn't do much more than check this compiles and passes the one test we have. Also I want to spend as little time as possible on RHV outputs for virt-v2v since the RHV product will be discontinued soon. I did want to point out some things: - The preceeding code is probably wrong.

Use the $(srcdir) variable where needed, to make sure it builds also with srcdir != builddir. Furthermore, make sure that the OCaml dependencies calculation depend on the generated output_rhv_upload_*_source.ml files, otherwise there will be incomplete OCaml rules for them in the generated .depend. The L Word
I've been wondering what L means in the R computing context, and was wondering if someone could point me to a reference where I could read about it, or tell me what it's called so that I can search for it myself. (L by itself is a little too general for a search term). I encounter it in strange places, most recently in the "save" documentation. save(..., list = character(0L),
