Mailbox isn't a valid mbox file (dovecot 1.0-0.beta8.2.fc5)
Hello, I have upgraded my dovecot-0.99.13-3.FC3 to dovecot-1.0-0.beta8.2.fc5 recently and now am having weird problem. If somebody's mailbox has the first line in a form of From "User Name" <user at host.domain.edu> Thu Oct 7 14:20:00 1999 instead of From user at host.domain.edu Thu Oct 7 14:20:00 1999 then that mailbox couldn't be precessed by dovecot. It

Again on DC prediction
Reading the source code i noted the zeroing of the LASTDC array after each plane (Y,U,V) in the DC prediction function. Perhaps i missed this in the specification, but in the chapter 7.8.2 (Inverting the DC prediction precess) i don't find this wrote down. Can someone explain me this? Thanks in advance -Marco Bagnaresi

preprocesssor questions
Hi, I have been looking at the speex library and I like it a lot. Good job! I have a couple of questions regarding the preprocessor: 1) I looked at the source code. Even though I am an experienced programmer it looks like Chinese to me ;-) What would I have to do to modify / tweak the audio processing code for my needs? Are there documents describing the algorithms applied for AGC, NS and VAD or

manipulating mails
Hi all, sorry for my inexperience. I am still learning. I searched for a while but found nothing useful. I am looking for the best way to manipulate headers, bodies, attachments, locations, folders and/or flags while using deliver and e.g. perl. In other words manipulating the whole mail in respect of the requirements of the LDA, MUA and User. I see two diffent ways. As i understand I can

preprocesssor questions
Hi Thank you for your work. We are trying to use the speex SW with a C6000 TI DSP. I am working with an HW codec that does AGC by HW inside. Will doing the AGC before the preprocessor make a problem? Does VAD work well in a noisy eviroment? In SW there are some remarks on things to be fixed, can I count on SW as working or are some part still to be improved. I also tried to understand SW but I

ZFS snapshots and NFS
...s to do that... but i think that would be nice (better). That would economize space, and the administration task would be very easy (ZFS intend to be easy). I think ZFS have solved the "Stale NFS file Handle" on the "mount point", and all woul be necessary would be a respawn for precesses already in memory (on migrated clients). So... What do you think about a feature like that? useful, crazy? Thanks very much for your time! byLeal [www.posix.brte.com.br/blog] This message posted from opensolaris.org

Changing the order of plugin execution.
Hi! I'm using an acl to avoid deletion of .Trash messages, but I also have mail_log plugin enabled, but I found out some logs of deletion on info.log: deleted: uid=218, msgid=<200802150943.25163.alessio at skye.it>, box=Trash The message is still there, but maillog logged that it have been deleted. I believe that this issue is related to the order that plugins are executes, is there

vif() from Design and car
Hi, I've been generating linear models with lm(). I wanted to look at the VIF's for the coefficient. Using the vif() function from the package Design, I would get unusually high VIF's. However using vif() from the car package I get more reasonable values (ie in line with the quality of the model). What is the difference between the two vif functions? (I dont have access to the

WipeOut - gateway access with pin solution
Helo WipeOut, I have found a solution for sending dtmf after dial. I use spooling. Take a look at the sample.call file inside asterisk dir. You need to edit this file and dump it in /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing. Asterisk will precess this file automaticlly I create the sample.call do something like this: Channel: OH323/4324324324 #dial the access way MaxRetries: 3 RetryTime: 60 WaitTime: 30

vertically oriented color key in heatmaps
Hi, I have some data which I was plotting using image(). I wanted to add a vertical color key to the plot and I found that heatmap.2 in gplots does let me add a color key. However, I was thinking of a vertical bar with the color range rather than the style that gplots provides. Is there any package (or code snippet) that would let me add a vertical color key to an image() or heatmap
