Domain membership problem in OpenSuse 10.2

some issues with cdrom access for domain users, and Ximian evolution
connection to Microsoft exchange that went away only on updating.
However, now I can see uids for users, but the gids are not getting
resolved. I am attaching sample output below:

3.04 acl new user/group adding problem
...ong to include all the details I thought necessary,
but since its my last resort before going into all the gory details, I'm
sending it with hopes that someone will be able to help me out here.

samba 3.0.4 problem in getting userlist to set acls on windows xp
...it out so far. I've got detailed logs for
log levels 2, 5, and 10 for the various stages of the process, but I
dont want to add them to this already long mail unless someone wants to
have a look at them.
I'm completely confused, and would appreciate any help at all.

samba-3.0.4 acl problem in windows shares
...on file shares.
Its my first experience with samba as a PDC as well as with samba
acls, so I would be highly appreciative of any help that you could offer.
I've attached my basic configuration at the end of this letter, hope
it is descriptive enough.

Samba 3.0.4 acl problem
...oogling the
net for an answer, but I haven't found a solution yet. The strange
thing is that when the user list is displayed in the acl select dialog,
I get several weird lines in my samba machine log file.
I'm including the log lines with this letter.
I hope you can help me.

Problem setting ACLs on files/folders... plz help!
I'm running Samba on a Mac OS X server, and the server is a member of a
Windows domain (Windows 2003).
Samba is setup for security=domain permissions.
I have opened up a file share to the Windows machines named AppDeployment.
