xfig boxplot (polygon) bug??
...| instead of | |

This doesn't sound serious, but I'm running the result through pdf
postprocessors (mpost, then ppower4), and the result comes out as
triangles instead of boxes!
A simple workaraound, I expect, would be to define the boxes as
5-point polygons rather than 4-point, to force closure (sorry if I'm
not using the right jargon here).
I tried to get a look at the boxplot code to check this out, but

There are many others ways (ppower4, etc.) that you can choose from.

PDF graphics -- color weirdness (PR#2281)
...sion from: (NULL) (24.80.7.215)
I'm using R 1.4.1 to make PDF graphics in a Linux environment. I then include
them in a LaTeX document that I'm actually typesetting in Windows. I don't
think the OSes have anything to do with this.
I use the foils documentclass, pdflatex to typeset, ppower4 to postprocess the
pdf file to get some nice features. Once again, I don't think any of this is
the root of the problem.
It seems that the way R specifies colors for PDF figure elements and text has
quite a bit of diversity in it, but you'd never notice it until you putthese
PDFs onto a d...

Graphics output device
Dear developers,
I wonder would you consider making a save to a graphics file format (as opposed
to ps)?
What prompts this is that we have just finished my wife's thesis using R
heavily for stats and graphs. The combination of latex, bibtex and R generated
.eps worked a treat and we were very pleased with both the final outcome and
the efficiency of gernerating it, especially when all the

How to generate a report with graphics and tables?
Hello R-Users,
I have some data sets which change on a daily bases. So far I have
imported these sets into R, done all my evaluations resulting in a
couple of plots, charts and tables of numbers which I copy&pasted via
clipboard into Powerpoint.
The procedure is always the same and I wonder, whether there is no
easier way for doing so. Is there some type of "report generator"
