Captcha Trouble
Hello Rails, I have a problem.
I would like to use captcha in one of my project. When I did try to
install, this is what I got
$ sudo gem install captcha

Tibble o data.table?
Buenas
Gracias
Jesús

Replacing for loop with tapply!?
Dear all,
We have a large data set with temperature data for weather stations
across the globe (15000 stations).
For each station, we need to calculate the number of days a certain
temperature is exceeded.
So far we used the following S code, where mat88 is a matrix containing
rows of 365 daily temperatures for each of 15000 weather stations:
m <- 37
n <- 2
outmat88 <- matrix(0,

[LLVMdev] Flamewars!
Wow, I think that was the first really potent flamewar we've had on
llvmdev. Looking on the positive side, I think this shows that the llvm
community is growing and drawing interest from new people with new
perspectives. This is a good thing.
I want to thank everyone who was courteous in their response. As others
have said, it is really important to be polite and try to be

variable selectin---reduce the numbers of initial variable
hello,
my problem is like this: now after processing the varibles, the remaining
160 varibles(independent) and a dependent y. when I used PLS method, with 10
components, the good r2 can be obtained. but I donot know how can I express
my equation with the less varibles and the y. It is better to use less
indepent varibles. that is how can I select my indepent varibles. Maybe

Solution to communicating with UDP and other interfaces (under Linux) using R
I'd spent hours with Google trying to find how to control a separate
software package from R via a UDP interface (I could run the package
under a "system" command, but that was too slow). I finally figured out
a way to communicate with UDP through R, and it works fine (using the
"system" command) - it's also fast.

Louis; re:your repo and Ubuntu 18.04
Top posting:
So, I do want the five years of LTS in 18.04. {I think - see below.]
A substantial reason I'm not using debian/devuan is LTS support. I'm glad to be schooled in that regard, if someone has arguments to make. But I generally want to install a VM/Server/Box for a client and leave it alone as much as possible for as long as possible, and while it still works as initially

Excel.
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/XLConnect/index.html

Yo me resisto a usarlo.

archivos <- list.files(pattern = 'xls')
a1 <- read.xls(archivos[1],
perl="C:\\strawberry\\perl\\bin\\perl.exe",skip=12,dec=",",header=F,as.is=T)
