Hi all, Is there any possibility to ask dovecot to write nothing to disk, something like a "read only" state, without shutting it down? I have set up a ZFS+postfix+dovecot mail server, and I need both postfix (postsuper -h ALL) and dovecot (??) to stop modifying the disk to create the snapshot to be saved. Does anybody has any idea on how to achieve this? Regards! Felix

I ran dovecot -a and the blizzard of data seemed ok to my limited knowledge. Is there another log I should look into to trace this error down? dbox format needs at least two tools: 1. Expunging only marks the message having refcount=0. The actual disk space is freed only after calling a tool pointing to the user's dbox dir. 2. I have a CentOS server with postfix running. A pop user's account was compromised and a lot of spam started being sent. My upstream ISP's mail program started refusing to talk to me because of the very high rate of mail, error 451. I disabled the compromised account. I then changed the postfix settings to deliver mail directly and flushed the mail queue. This resulted in spam

Hi, I am currently making a fresh install of email server. I am having some issue with dovecot-antispam (cf. other emails), and noticed that I was having issues on aliases, which apparently where not forwarded to the actual SMTP server after passing through dspam. Still don't figure why but temporarily disable the dspam filter, which anyway is not useful in the current state of this
