Postgrey not working
Hi, I have a working installation of Postfix and Dovecot that works nicely. I've added SpamAssassin, which does a good job of flagging spam. Now I wanted to add greylisting to my server. Here's what I did. $ sudo yum install postgrey Increase the greylisting delay. # /etc/sysconfig/postgrey POSTGREY_OPTS="--delay=300" Edit /etc/postfix/main.cf accordingly. smtpd_recipient_restrictions = permit_mynetworks, permit_auth_destination, permit_sasl_authenticated, check_policy_service unix:/var/spool/postfix/po...

RPM conflicts - help!
I'm building a database/application server with a Dual-Opteron 64 bit system. I need to run PHP4, Apache, and Postgres 8.1, but I'm having conflicts with Postgres 8.1 and PHP 4 that comes with CentOS. History: 1) I installed Apache and PHP with yum. 2) I then installed PostgreSQL 8.1 RPMs from the PG website. 3) Then, I tried to install php-pgsql with yum - and it didn't work, complaining about pg...

PgSQL development libraries?
Hi, I am trying to compile an application (PowerDNS) with PostgreSQL support. Where do the PowerDNS libraries get installed under CentOS? I am constantly getting the error checking for PgSQL library directory... configure: error: Didn't find the pgsql library dir in '/usr/include/lib/pgsql /usr/include/pgsql /usr/include' -- "I never look ba...

Redhat 9 OVER, Fidora Support, comments please.
Hi *ers, I recently got an Email from Redhat about the dropping of support for Redhat 9 on the 30 of April and that Fedora Project is the recommended future, otherwise, RedHat enterprise ($$$). Considering this, I would like some feed back on the Fedora Project from users who may be using it, and how its going with Asterisk? Are there any problems? Is the Asterisk development team got Fedora

Why does my DomU keep going mad?
Hi All, I''ve got a DomU that sometimes goes mad. I can''t ssh or usually even console to it. The time I did manage to console I got a load of dumps about being out of memory and swap, but couldn''t run any commands to find out which process had gone mad :( From Dom0 I can see the DomU at 100% CPU and can only stop it with a destroy. What can I do/check to find

IPFW: Blocking me out. How to debug?
Dear W.D. Do you understand that by adding the rules into kernel space numbered from zero to sixty five thousand five hundred thirty four you may alter the behavior of the rule number sixty five thousand five hundred thirty five can you please define and list the goals you are trying to achieve by altering default rule in the terms you can both explain and understand. ----- Original Message

IPFW compiled in kernel: Where is it reading the config?
Hi peeps, After compiling ipfw into the new 6.2 kernel, and typing "ipfw list", all I get is: "65535 deny ip from any to any" From reading the docs, this might indicate that this is the default rule. (I am certainly protected this way--but can't be very productive ;^) ) By the way, when I run "man ipfw" I get nothing. Using this instead:
