SASL and SSL/TLS guide for postfix/dovecot
Hi List,
Following on in my ever expanding series of postfix/dovecot guides, I've
created a page and started a SASL and SSL/TLS guide for postfix/dovecot:
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/postfix_sasl
The SASL section is pretty much complete but I am yet to start the
SSL/TLS section (hope to get this done over the next week or so).
As usual I'd welcome comments, particularly from those with any
experience in this area :)
Regards,
Ned

Postfix + CyrusImapd + SALS
Hi guys,
Take a look at:
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Postfix+CyrusImapd+SASL

Could we improve it some way ?. What do you suggest, ... comments ?
Maybe it would be linked from HowTos when you conceder it ready. This
guide could be a complement to the

Postfix Questions
Hi All,
I am working on setting up Postfix and I have a few questions:

have to know the Ip information for my BlackBerry to work as well?
2. relaying: Obviously I dont want to be

[CORRECTED] Postfix SMTP authentication on remote relay serve
Sorry about the previous post, I see the subject had a typo. So here's
the correct one :)
Does anyone know how to configure Postfix to use SMTP authentication
on a relay host?
i.e. I have a Linux server, running PostFix on an ADSL line with a
dynamic IP. Thus I can't just send out emails from this server but
need to relay it via our ISP's SMTP server, which is very unreliable.

Secure mail login problem
Hi all,
Finally got around to making sendmail and dovecot use a secure log in
procedure on my server.
Now when I open up outlook it goes through a secure log in.
Unfortunately, I am using my own self signed cert on the server for this.
Hence, I get, for every single account, everytime I open up outlook a
warning about untrusted cert.
I have looked around and found a spot in IE to

IMAP security
I have port 143 open so that I can get my mail when away from home.
Occasionally, though, my router reports things like
