How did I turn off params ?

I have created a sham table compound_events, but that has not helped.
I have tried using text_field_tag, but that has not helped.
Sniffing the HTTP traffic, I see all the input values as they appear on
the page

Errno::ENXIO (Device not configured) when using net/https from rails
...following code that creates a https connection from within
a rails controller. Works fine except that if it doesn''t get called
for a few hours it starts throwing an exception until I restart rails
(apache1.3 + scgi). I wonder if something here isn''t thread safe?

Bash cgi upload form
Anyone have a function or script for uploading files from a web
browser with a bash script? I know this is possible to do with Perl,
I'm wondering if the same is possible using only bash.

It has been reported that after sending a report and returning to the main page,
refreshing the main page (obviously a natural thing to want to do) resends the
report as a duplicate. This is an attempt at reproducing said incorrect
behaviour.
