Hi guys, I'm building a server that need to host 2 digium TDM24 cards. I know any 3U server with 2 PCI-E slots would do. Hi gang, We are moving our computers from a cluster of physical machines to a VMWARE server with virtual machines. We investigated and are looking to replace our TDM400P/TDM410P with AEX410P cards. Can we run asterisk with the DAHDI drivers from one of the Virtual machines or is DAHDI going to have to be a native process on the "REAL" machine? Thanks Danny Nicholas

Hi all, I'm interested in having X448 protocol available as an option, as it gives a larger security margin over X25519. For anyone unfamiliar, it is an Diffie-Hellman elliptic curve key exchange using Curve448 (defined in RFC7748: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7748). Furthermore, it is included in the new TLS 1.3 specification (RFC8846: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc8446).

Has anyone had any experience using asterisk for a 911 call center? Does anyone know of any reason why it would not be suitable? As far as I know all 911 call routing takes place at the CO switch so a regular T1 line should work fine. I understand that there is support for ACD in asterisk and that is should be possible to implement screen pop (CTI). Any comments? Gene Kochanowsky Solution
