tune.svm in {e1071}
Dear All , 1- I'm trying to access the values of fitted(model) after model<- tune.svm( ) but seemingly it is not poosible. How can I access to values of fitted ? However ,it is possible only after model<- svm( ) 2- How can I access to the other values such as the number of Support Vectors , gamma, cost , nu , epsilon , after model<- tune.svm( ) ? these are not possible? Call Queues and Agents, using both devices and agent members
Question for users of Agents and Queue. In our queue.conf file we have entries for both agents and some devices. We do this so that some dual pupose dispatchers can also take a call if they have a spare moment. We went live with a dispatch client over the weekend a number of issues came up the most pressing is that when a call comes to a member of the queue that is a device as opposed to an

Generalized Singular Value Decomposition (GSVD)
Dear R-users, I couldn't find a function or some help in R-project web about the Generalized Singular Value Decomposition. In MatLab there is a simple function for this algebric issue (gsvd). Is there anything like that in R? And, if not, could you help me to apply this method in R? Thanks in advance, Giancarlo +++++ This mail has been sent through the MPI for Demographic Rese...{{dropped}}

lattice contourplot background covers inward-facing ticks
I wish to have inward-pointing ticks on my contourplot graph, but the colored background produced by the "region=TRUE" statement covers the ticks up, is there any way around this? Sample code below. --Seth library(lattice) model <- function(a,b,c,d,e, f, X1,X2) # provide model function for contour plot {J <- a + (b*X1) + (c*X2) + (d*X1*X2) + e*(X1^2) + f*(X2^2) pp

[Fwd: Re: mixed models for analyzing survey data with unequal selection probability]
Hi, All Thanks to Robert Baskin, Thomas Lumley, and Spencer Graves for the valuable helps. I have learned a lot from this discussion. I put all discussions together without editing, so we can see how things are evolved. Likely, I have a lot of articles to read. As in the discussion, mixed modeling approach is a poosible but may be over-kill in my posted data analyses. I will explore other

Embedding llvm as a git submodule in Project
Sorry my example wasn't helpful. I did take a quick look at rust -- though I didn't download or try to build it -- and they seem to allow you to use an installed or prebuilt version in addition to building it in-tree. However, even when they build it in-tree, they build the whole thing -- see mk/llvm.mk. Good luck... On Mon, Oct 10, 2016 at 1:33 AM, Timo Janssen via llvm-dev <

Upgrade broke file locking
Prior to upgrading from RH7.0 to RH7.3 our Samba filserver worked perfectly. Now we are having locking problems. Initially Iused the same samba binaries built on RH70, I tried rebuilding Samba and reinstalling but it had no effect. If user bon opens an M$-Office file they frequently get a 'file is already in use by bob'. Sure enough smbstatus -L shows the file locked by bob, but bob
