...y setting up the appropriate firewall rules, you could do (with kernel 2.2): ipchains -A forward -s 10.10.0.0/16 -d 10.20.0.0/16 -b -j ALLOW [untested], which should forward traffic between 10.10.* and 10.20.*. Be sure to have your routes right, and everything will work as expected. SSH attacks from china
Okay, I have a server connected to the net but have not added fail2ban or anything on top of my firewall yet. Thought you guys might get a kick out of this one user, ip is from china, who has got a heck of a knack for making assumptions on possible usernames. Enjoy this..., 8000+ attempts. samba dhcp issue
I have sort of the same problem that other people have reported with nmb. Only in my case i'm running dhcp client. It appears that the ip address is not being assigned quickly enough as this is what nmb complains about in the log:no local interfaces. Once i login to kde and su to root in a term session, I can issue the restart command and it works very nicely:). So what,if any, is the
