[PATCH 1/2] cpufreq, powernow: enable/disable core performance boost for all cpus in policy
Currently, enable/disable turbo mode on AMD is broken: $ xenpm enable-turbo-mode 0 <-- works and proper CPU MSR bit is set $ xenpm enable-turbo-mode 1 <-- silently broken, MSR bit not set Since ->turbo is per policy, when user requests to enable/disable turbo mode, we need to set the bit in all of the ->cpus that this policy affects. --- xen/arch/x86/acpi/cpufreq/powernow.c | 2

[PATCH 07/12] cpufreq: allocate CPU masks dynamically
struct cpufreq_policy, including a cpumask_t member, gets copied in cpufreq_limit_change(), cpufreq_add_cpu(), set_cpufreq_gov(), and set_cpufreq_para(). Make the member a cpumask_var_t, thus reducing the amount of data needing copying (particularly with large NR_CPUS). Problems with GPO
Hi In my network I have two DC Samba 4 and two File Server Samba 4 too. Shared directories are on a LUN presented to File Server (/ STORAGE). I'm network drive mapping in my domain with GPO and it work properly. However, some times, the drives aren't mapped. This way, I run GPUPDATE /FORCE command and some times I receive the following error: ' *Updating Policy ...The user

In-Line List Editing with AJAX
I''m trying to write an interface for editing many-to-one relationships with AJAX. Picture the to-do editor in Backpack (and, to a lesser extent, Basecamp) and you''ll have a good idea of what I''m trying to do. I''ve almost got everything working: the ''edit'' link hides the stored data and replaces it with a form, and the data is updated in the

Windows2000 policies in a Samba PDC
I'm installing a Samba 3.0 PDC with LDAP backend in a classroom in a Spanish school. Client workstations are Windows2000 and, in the future, there will be Linux clients. I'm following the Samba Project Documentation book (also known as Samba Howto Collection). The document is wonderfull, but there is a part that I don't fully understand, maybe because, as you can read, I'm not a

group policies, domain policies and workstation policies without Active Directory??
I have the following situation: a network with 30 Windows NT Server on different sites, 800 clients with Windows XP; I want to migrate to Samba instead of Windows 2003 Server, but I have the effort to manage group policies, domain policies and workstation policies on the XP Clients; is there a way to solve this without Active Directory e.g. Samba with LDAP?? Win98 policies, profiles and logon scripts
I am running Samba 2.2.3a and have my users logging into the 'samba domain'. My WinNT and WinXP users are working fine with roaming profiles and policies. My problem is my Win98 users. The logon script doesn't seem to be working, i.e. when I log onto a Win98 machine (logging into the domain), the logon script doesn't run. I have opened up the permissions to the logon script

[PATCH] ACM: adding C-support for policy translation and labeling support for domains
This patch: * adds a C-based security policy translation tool to Xen (secpol_xml2bin) and removes the current Java security policy translator (Java dependencies). The C-based tool integrates into the Xen source tree build and install (using gnome libxml2 for XML parsing). See install.txt. * introduces security labels and related tools. Users can now use semantic-rich label names to put
