2 simple doubts
...;-V2
c<-V3
, is it possible to construct a command like this:
tree(a~b+c,data=DS1)
, that would do the job of tree(V1~V2+V3,data=DS1) ?
I know that how I've written here doesn't work, but I hope I've
explained well what I'd like to do.
Thanks.
Sincerely,

glim and gls
...a Maximum Likelihood and Linear Models using
Generalized Least Squarse in R as the functions glim and gls,
respectively, from S-Plus.
Also, anybody know if there is any package that fit Log-Linear Models
using Generalized Least Squares?
Any help will be very useful.
Thanks,

nonparametric 2way repeated-measures anova
Dear useRs
is there any nonparametric test for the analysis of variance in a design
with two within-factors (repeated measures on both factors)? Friedman is not
appropriate here, therefore I am grateful for any alternative test.
thanks for any hint
cheers

Generalized Estimating Functions
...for Poisson? I get
1.36 in R, 1.25 in SAS (estimation by the square root of DEVIANCE/DOF)
and 1.17 (estimation by the square root of Pearson's Chi-Square/DOF).
I'm using R 1.4.1 but all the problems apply for S-Plus 2000 too.
I hope anybody can help me.
Sincerely,

3) I have never heard of this step selections (line search, dogleg and
optimal step). I would like to know something about it. I would
appreciate if someone could send references for me to learn the subject.
