libvirt/kvm/qemu: pointopoint routed setup?
Hi,
can anyone give an example for a pointopoint routed setup?
i.e. each virtual machine has one ip with pointopoint config to the
host machine, on a private interface - thus the virtual machines can
only talk to the host, which routes them and can use normal iptables
for filtering all traffic.
with xen this was a simple script doing

monitoring the asterisk and safe restart
Hi List,
I am sorry that I may bring the old question to the community. My question
is
1. How can we determine if asterisk is working normally or not ? what kind
watchdog process do we have at this moment ?
2. In case the running asterisk is mulfucntion, is there any available way
to auto restart asterisk ??
Please advise if you could.
Thanks.

Tinc on MacOs X
My intention is to set up tinc so that I can connect from home to an
office network. All CPUs are running MacOs X, 10.2.8 or 10.3.5.
I have read the tinc manual, tincd.8 and tinc.conf.5. However, I am
still unclear about a few issues.
First and foremost, how to I setup the VPN interfaces on the hosts,
on MacOs X? Which file do I have to alter and what is the exact
syntax on Os X to setup

IP Tunneling
Hello
I have /25 addressed on a box (virtual devices on eth0) and I want to
tunnel some of these addresses to my home network. One address to my
gateway (a.b.c.d, external IP) and one address to my internal network
(192.168.0.0/24-style). I will use the tunnels for irc, smtp and surfing.
What protocol and which technique is easiest and best to use?
One more thing. I don''t want to set up

Xen / Windows Network Setup
Hi
Is there a way to configure Windows in a pointopoint fashion?
Windows can do this for dial up networking, but I find no way to do it on
ethernet.
