search for: pluses

Hello Rails people, I submitted a patch recently to get rid of an annoying exception raised when an AR object is created - http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/10556 , had some people review it, got some pluses... What am I supposed to do now? Can anybody advise or just review the patch and take care of the issue? I need to be able to search for certain symbol characters. For example, I want the search for c++ to work. I try enclosing it in quotes, but it seems to treat C and the pluses as two separate characters to look for. Search for ++ alone seems to find documents that don''t have any pluses in them.
