AW: User unknown in local recipient table
Hallo Liste, hallo Ralf, danke schon mal.

Need a CONFIRMED working hardware sata raid10 card
Does anyone know of a card that actually works with CentOS 4 that supports Raid10? I don't think CentOS support software raid 10 from the installer. snmp statistics for vnics
1 simple question about network statistics for vnics: We noticed that the statistics for vnics (used by Virtualbox guests) are not there. When the nics are plumped in the host OS, we do see them showing up, but all all records are 0. Can someone tell me how to get the correct network info via snmp on the Vbox Host?? Thanks in advance. How do I add fitted curves to coplots?
G''day I''ve been performing an analysis of some data by a follow the leader method (Bad I know but it seems to work and I think I understand all the steps now) and I''ve run into a problem. The analysis is for all practical purposes identical to the non-linear mixed effects analysis performed on Ludbrooks Rabbit data in the second edition of Venables & Ripley (page

job fails to print via samba 2.2.6-pre1 - lpd ASCII a nd postscript test works fine...
Ah, it appears that I have confused myself... I indeed have ALL of the queues defined as JetDirect with the model specific driver selected in printconf. With this combination I am telling linux to modify the job [via the filter] and then pass it as a RAW [jetdirect] where I SHOULD just have the queue define as JetDirect with a RAW as the driver and let the job go as transmitted by the client

After starting a hacking spree and being rather silent about for the last 3 moths, going on and on about it, I've finally made releases. So here they are. swfdec-0.4.0 "festivally plump" http://swfdec.freedesktop.org/download/swfdec/0.4/swfdec-0.4.0.tar.gz MD5: 157d31c9dc02aa22b5f27323e5a203fc Swfdec is a library for reading and playing back Shockwave Flash files. Install 3.4.3 problem
...s/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/compiling.html say to extract the tar file, then switch to the source directory (based on version 3.0.20). I have only got source3 & source4 extracted. When there, I'm asked to run the configure script. That helps, because source4 does not contain it, hence I plumped for source3 directory. The script runs, and runs........ and after a meeting, I came back to find it complete with no obvious error message at the end. The next task in the install procedure appears to be to run the 'make' command. There is not a local one, so it picks the one in /usr/b...

Migrating away from Nagios
I have to rebuild a new Nagios box and thought this might be a good time to migrate away. I use snmp mostly for everything but with the fork Nagios endured I wonder about putting any more effort into the project. I probably should look at OpenNMS again, but the other options I think might work are Icinga (Should be trivial to migrate) or Zenoss or maybe even Zabbix? Anyone have experience in

Country numbering plan resources
Is there any good free / accurate online resources with detailed country numbering plans? Failing that let's get something running ourselves. I was also thinking maybe people present could contribute some information on this list for now. The countries I am after are below. To start this off I will provide the information for Australia +61 and New Zealand +64. NZ Cellular: area code 21

Many thanks in advance! --

some (basic?) development questions...
Pardon my ignorance, as I just started playing with Ogg stuff a few days ago, but I'd appreciate some help if someone has time... I was trying to write a very basic comment editor for Ogg Vorbis files. I think I mostly have it working, but it seems to output slightly broken streams. Here's a basic overview of what I'm doing; could someone tell me if I've got the right basic
