Re: New to Asterisk and a question
Greetings all,
I have been watching Asterisk for a while now, but haven't had the
nerve to jump in and start playing until now... I'm fed up with our phone
system (or lack thereof) at my office, so I decided to start seriously
looking at Asterisk... Mostly as a plaything to get my hands on it, but
with the goal of making our phone system here somewhat bearable...
We have four incoming POTS lines, which I am going to purchase a
TDM400P with four FXO modules to handle... I saw a bundle on Digiums
website that I think will suit this requirement nicely......

sure it's something that can be easily fixed. And I'm probably sounding
like a broken record, because I have said this before.
My experience is that the time it takes to compile something is growing
above linear with size of

Firefox Redraw Time
While not directly related to prototype/s.a.u. I thought this would be
the best place to pose this question. I apologize, if it''s off topic.
I''m working on an interface where I have a bunch of list items floated
to the left in a horizontal fashion. The list is inside a absolutely
positioned div, with an overflow set to hidden.
At one point in my script I have to remove the

RedHat forks OpenSSH?
It has just come to my notice that Redhat is planning to ship a
forked version of OpenSSH. The change goes beyond the usual
patches applied to RPMs in the build process: Redhat have built
their own OpenSSH tarball and are using that in their source RPM
instead of the official release distribution. If you are
interested, have a look at the openssh-3.9p1-7.src.rpm from the
