Vorbis for PlayStation
...bis@xiph.org Subject: [vorbis] Vorbis for PlayStation Hello. Some friends of mine were playing with a PlayStation one day. And after playing some Games they pushed a normal Audio CD into that thing - and the music began to play. A crazy idea came into my mind. Just imagine: There are millions of PlayStations spread worldwide. If it was possible to port Ogg to PS this could help to bring Vorbis where we want it to be: Millions of families were able to play Ogg-CDs in their living-rooms. Does a PlayStation have enough computing power to decode Ogg Vorbis? Is it possible to port a decoder to that platfor...

alternative nameserver from local network
...y, rather than use the ISP''s nameservers. Shorewall has a masq rule from ppp0 to eth1, and then DNAT''s the appropriate playstation ports in the rules file. I''ve tried it with DNAT net loc:192.168.0.10 all as well. All my other games work just fine (for them the playstations nameserver settings match my ISP''s nameservers). It''s only this game that needs the particular nameserver that fails. Technical support tells me the nameserver is up and running just fine, but they couldn''t help me much with firewalls and NAT etc. Does shorewall do s...

Problem with CPU usage on Playstation 2 when using Ogg Vorbis.
Hi, Sometime ago i finished a port of Ogg Vorbis to Playstation 2. The code is working just fine and the music sounds like it should, but there is one problem. I get CPU usage that looks like this (when i say frames i mean actually rendering frames on the Playstations 2 and you have 50 or 60 frames per second) cpu usage: ~100% ~0% ~0% 0% ~100% current frame: 0 1 2 3 4 This indicates that the Ogg Vorbis code processes a bit a head and on frame 0 decodes data...

Display associated record count
Hi all, I have a website which has users and each user can creat multiple product records. I have the ability to show the associated records under the user profile but what I want to do now is on the user index, to display a number representing how many products that user has up for sale. So basically to count all the records for each user and display on the index so that it would look like the

vorbis on playstation 2
Hello, I'm interested in getting vorbis up and running on the PlayStation 2. I'm an official developer, not a ps2 linux developer, but the issues should be roughly the same. I've gotten the code to compile but our setup (intentionally) doesn't have libm so I'm seeing references to several double-precision math functions. Some of the issues I'm seeing: - As reported on

[LLVMdev] Code ownership for PS4 target
As you might have noticed, we’ve begun landing patches to open source the Sony PlayStation®4 system compiler. Many more are coming. I’d like to propose that I be named code owner for this platform. I already have this role internally for open source. It feels necessary to establish as part of the process to handle external contributions. ----------------------------------------- Alex Rosenberg
