Testing for 1.2beta2
Hi everyone,
I'm planning on releasing Speex 1.2beta2 in the next few days. I'd
appreciate if everyone could try and test the current svn to make sure
no bug crept in for your favourite plarform/application.
Cheers,

mark_buffer_dirty() reports buffer_head is not uptodate in JBDroutine journal_create() in kernel 2.6.
Hi Stephen,
I found a bug in JBD routine journal_create() in kernel 2.6, when I debug
the OCFS v2 driver. mark_buffer_dirty() reports buffer_head is not
uptodate. See following bug description.
-------------------------------------------------------
OS: Linux Kernel 2.6.1
Plarform: IA32
Steps:
1. Build the ocfs v2 driver under kernel 2.6.
2. insert ocfs2.ko into kernel 2.6.
3. mkfs.ocfs2 -F -b 4 -l testocfs -m /mnt/ocfs2 /dev/hdb2
4. mount -t ocfs2 /dev/hdb2 /mnt/ocfs2
Results:
buffer layer error at fs/buffer.c:1266

How can I call R from Java or C?
Hi all,
I am new to R. I have been looking for a way to call R functions from
Java or C.
What I have found so far is: I can execute R commands in batch mode from a
file and redirect the output to another file. However, I am not sure this
is the way to do it.
About C, is it true that I can only call R from a C process, only if that C
process is invoked within R itself? So is it R->C->R ?

Serial ATA hardware raid.
Hi everyone,
I'm looking into setting up a SATA hardware raid, probably 5 to use with
CentOS 4. I chose hardware raid over software mostly because I like the
fact that the raid is transparent to the OS.
Does anyone know of any SATA controllers that are well tested for this
sort of usage?
From what I can tell from googling, this is more or less where RHEL stands:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
