developers who wish to learn about the capabilities of the virt tools
stack. The focus of most content is the, state of the art, Linux native
KVM hypervisor, but writing about using other hypervisors using virt
tools is also welcome.
Today we are launching a new part of the site, the Blog Planet, to
aggregate feeds from people working on virt tools related projects:
http://planet.virt-tools.org/index.html
The site is seeded with a mere 2 blogs thus far, and so we are looking
for content from other people working on libvirt, libguestfs, gtk-vnc,

Large Database with lots of tables
Hello all,
I am a rails nuby and I am evaluating using Rails for a new web
application. The application will have a large number of tables (>70)
that will basically mimic a large collection of paper forms that user
would otherwise have to fill out. From what I have read on rails thus
far it seems I would have to create a lot of models and form templates.
Is this common and if so does

Wiki Front Page.
Whilst running my critical eye over the new front page of the wiki I
noticed, in the first light-blue box:
*CentOS Planet is alive*: Stay in touch with the CentOS community, take a
look at CentOS Planet <http://planet.centos.org/>
"Planet CentOS" or "CentOS Planet", that is the question. D'oh.
Alan.

Planet CentOS
Hey,
It's probably better to remove my RSS feed from Planet CentOS because I
will still write about CentOS (and tag those articles centos) but not as a
team member.
And if it is linked on Planet CentOS people may still think I am
communicating as a CentOS team member, which I prefer to avoid.

fts squat non-english search for 2 words
Hello,
It looks I encoutered a bug or misconfiguration. fts_squat search for subject and body works excellent for English mails. For non-English (in particular, Russian) it works only when query consists of 1 word. Phrases - 2 and more words - always returns nothing. Example: search for "planet" ("???????") returns results, search for "Earth" ("?????") also returns results, but "planet Earth" ("??????? ?????") returns nothing. But there are emails having exact phrase "planet Earth". This problem occurs only for non-English q...

"Planet Xiph" feed collector website?
Hello!
I stumbled upon the blog of Xiph member Arek Korbik [1]
a few minutes ago and the "planet idea" came to my mind
again. What I mean is a website collection posts from
a number of blogs as Planet KDE [2] is doing for example.
Is there such a thing for Xiph? Is there interest
in having such a thing? If so would there be a chance
to cover the domain costs from past/future donations?...

300 extensions on Asterisk?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hello
I am running an * box with just 8 extensions connected to our old Alcatel BCN
5200 PABX.
The requirement is that we now scale it up to handle about 300 lines and get
rid of our old PABX. Is there a way of hooking up 300 phones to asterisk
without going via the PABX. I am more of a network person than a telecomms
one so i may not fully

Planet VIP-320 DECT gateway with Asterisk?

make it work with asterisk. The manual is very unclear (written in
"chinese" english) and the web configurator is ambiguous as well.
Has anyone succeeded in making one of these babies work with * ?
