Getting estimates from survfit.coxph
Dear all, I'm having difficulty getting access to data generated by survfit and print.survfit when they are using with a Cox model (survfit.coxph). I would like to programmatically access the median survival time for each strata together with the 95% confidence interval. I can get it on screen, but can't get to it algorithmically. Nonparametric test of randomness (Run Test)
Dear all, Does R or S-plus or any of their packages provide Non-parametric "Run test" (which tests whether a sequence of numbers might be random or not)? If yes, i'd like a numerical illustration of this test. Any response / help / comment / suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. ------------------------------- Mohammad Ehsanul Karim <wildscop at

OK, one more time on the PDC thing
...orry to belabor these PDC issues to the point where everyone is undoubtedly tired of hearing about them, but I have become absolutely obsessed with trying to solve this PDC problem. Here is what is happening now. I'm trying to connect to the Samba server which is set up as the PDC (domain PLAB) from windows client "venus". Windows prompts me to enter a username and password. I enter the username and password for root. It comes back and says it can't find a network path to that domain. Here's the message that appears in my samba log file: [2006/07/07 14:40:18, 0]...

Test snapshot
I have just tarred up a snapshot and uploaded it to: http://www.mindrot.org/misc/openssh/openssh-SNAP-20000823.tar.gz The snapshot incorporates the last month's fixes and enhancements from the openssh-unix-dev mailing list and from the OpenBSD developers. In particular: - ssh-agent and ssh-add now handle DSA keys. NB. this does not interop with ssh.com's ssh-agent. (Markus Friedl)
